    It’s really sad that we’ve gone from what we had a little earlier to what we have now. I long for the days of Gary on TV and Joe angel on the radio. I can only imagine how people that grew up with Thompson and Miller feel.

    A Good voice can say uninteresting things and still be good. A terrible voice can read the keys to Heaven and still unlistenable. 

    I thought we had Siri calling games on radio when I first tuned in this year.

    It depends on the situation.   A person would have to be incredibly talented to make the jump from DSL to the Majors.  I'm not saying it couldn't be done but what about the O's presence in the DR makes you think they have that level of talent announcing games?

    This back and forth is annoying and really not entertaining.

    Back to the topic...

    After the fire sale of on air talent this year, why did this guy get canned after he got to work for opening day? Did they discover an unsavory tweet moments before the game started?

    Honestly I’m not too concerned with PA announcers but the trend of everyone that works in the media getting canned deserves an explanation.
