  1. As the original poster, and having followed this thread closely, I agree with Jammer7. For all the energy he seems to show, Severino is lazy. The difference defensively between him and Sisco is minimal, regardless of what many on here believe. Neither is near average ML level. Let Sisco play and see if the bat grows.

  2. I respectfully disagree. I think he is having horrible at bats. Missing a TON of center cut fastballs and not seeing many pitches. Opposite of Hays who was having tremendous at bats with no hits early. Last few he’s lost confidence.... but Stewart just looks lost. And this is from a huge Stewart fan.

  3. Does anyone know if any of our beat writers, or anyone else for that matter, is tracking what’s happening in Bowie? I for one would love to know what’s going on there. Sim games? How many catchers? Are they tracking innings thrown to duplicate a minors season? Are the batters facing live pitching? I’d be curious to know how Hall and Rodriguez are going to keep their innings/arm strength up whole losing a year of competition. Thoughts?

  4. By my count that’s 6 or 7 passed balls my sophomore son would’ve caught. Not skill either, just plain laziness. I know catching.... move your body laterally for Christ’s sake. Bring Holladay up already.

  5. Someone coach me up. I know that certain aspects of service time have been prorated and minor leaguers have obviously been effected. In past years we needed to wait until I believe the 3rd week of May to save a year of arbitration. What is the date on this shortened season, more specifically when will we see Mountcastle? The Davis departure  stinks of him bailing on season, which would be a godsend for the O’s who are looking for a place to play a defensively limited Mountcastle.

  6. Hi, all. Long time hangouter and lifelong Orioles fan here. I am an indie author and I’ve recently released my new book on Amazon. It is my hope that some of you will be interested in my tale of a fictional Orioles pitcher who attempts to rehab a serious injury with the help of some quirky and loyal friends. We are still a few weeks away from watching any real baseball, why not pass that time reading? Big Thanks to any and all who support me. Go O’s!!!

  7. It’s more in the line of a Bull Durham type comedy. There is a romantic plot line like most stories. One of my reviewers referred to it as, ‘Bull Durham meets the Big Lebowski’. I thought that was funny.
