You have to think the Jays manager and hitting coach are going to tell them to take some pitches in the third inning to try to stretch him out a bit. If Cobb throws competitive strikes, he might strike out the side looking.
Attacking Cobb early must be in the scouting report.

Announcers absolutely losing it on the Ruiz play! I've got to see it tomorrow. They said it was a "web gem", was it that good?
Not graceful, but spectacular.

Matter of time before somebody gets tossed. Both teams are unhappy about the strike zone.

Good play to hold him to a single.
McCutheon seemed angry at himself, like he couldn't see the ball down in the corner or something.

I also note that OPACY has never had a "sellout" name like "Citizen's Bank Field" or "PNC Bank Field" or anything like that. And OPACY doesn't do the cardboard cutouts thing as a revenue generator.
Profits from the cutouts goes to the team's charities. It's not a money grab.

Never in doubt. In the WIN column.

Ben said it was actually mis-hit. It's August. Ball is flying.
Harper swings hard. The ball didn't sneak over the wall either. It was WAY out.

Castro got Harper to pop up.

Last night, the first three runners placed on second were retired (tag out at third, tag out at home , and doubled up at second. That has to be a record, for now.
Those are exciting baseball plays. I'm not ready to totally embrace the free runner rule yet. But those two innings were infinitely more fun to watch than 12 straight hitters trying to hit the ball out of the park.

It does seem rather curious and perhaps unprofessional of him to speculate.
I'll agree. But I'm guessing he has some solid information to back up what seems like speculation.

I’ve been to the casino in Charles Town a couple times.
Keep coming, it pays for a lot of stuff out here in our little town.
We have a full-fledged sports book now (well, after COVID).

Thanks for the info, Bill.
I'll check it out on the rerun of the game, later tonight.

I think it was on the BP show, not sure if that's in the late night replay or not.

So very sorry to hear this news. All the best to those who knew him personally. Definitely an asset to this site and all of Orioles fandom.
