A lot of the guys throw up the 'i love you' sign language to the bullpen when rounding the bases. If you noticed when we were in Tampa they would point towards the left field foul line because of the bullpens being on the field at the Trop

appreciate the heads up, ended up catching most of the interview

Robby Ray on the Jays postgame show. “They very rarely swing at my slider, which is pretty..uh.. curious.” He also made a comment about how he pitched well against us in Toronto. Maybe he said something mid game accusing us of stealing signs? I could see how that would make Hyde react that way. Poor Robby Ray can’t comprehend the fact that the 46 win Orioles took him deep twice in the first.

What range?
range in the sense of what we would be willing to spend in a hypothetical world where we would be willing to sign a player above league minimum I guess

How much do you think he ends up signing for? If its in our range somehow, I think we should go for it. I've never watched the KBO so I can't attest to the pitching but the guy has a great swing and as long as he can adjust I think the power will play. The guy is electric

Solid 1st inning for the young man

Scoring from first on a double is in my opinion the single greatest advantage that speed has on the game from an offensive standpoint

The guy was the MVP of the league last year, it would be criminal to keep him down there all year. He's gonna be a stud

The Machado fake is the best. I had never seen it and depended upon Hardy being in the right place.

I'm all about launch angle and hitting fly balls, but I agree, it's not McKenna's game. COC makes good points, but in McKenna's case it makes for holes in the swing that pitchers can exploit. His abilities are probably better suited for turning outs into singles and singles into doubles rather than selling out to try to get to maybe average raw power in game.
I agree with this completely, I also think this applies to so many people in the league. There is such an infatuation with homeruns nowadays.

I noticed that he did throw atleast one changeup tonight on an 0-2 count, can't remember who the hitter was. It was hit for a flyout in right center, pretty sure Jim Hunter called it a slider but our announcers never say the correct pitch(Thorne especially)

Can the starters just ditch the cutter?

Tommy Hunter is still in the MLB? Homerun Hunter still living up to his namesake I see. Thats a name I haven't heard in a while so I had to look it up and of course he is pitching for Buck. Also 6.85 era yikes. Hopefully he leaves one of those cutters over the center and Gunnar warehouses one
