I'm shocked he was only 94

March 28 is..... something

Camden Yards has turned into a joke the last couple of year. They don't have simple things like cups with ice in the upper deck
-
The Orioles last won a title and a World Series appearance. Wild

One of the first Orioles players I remember as a toddler
-
RIP
He had a lot of natural talent

If this team is 7 games over 500 in a month I'd say they are good

-
I'm not sure they are good. Let's see how they are in a month against way better competition

Losing 2 out of 3 is what I predicted.
Rays could sweep them
-
Second year in a row you can't even get cups with ice In the Upper Deck. So simple. This is unbelievable to me for the supposed best park in baseball.

There were only 6,000 fans in Camden Yards for a meaningful game against the Blue Jays last year in August.
Unreal. Supposedly the best park in baseball too

Seattle hasn't made the playoffs since 2001?
Thats pathetic with how many teams make the playoffs now
-
I still can't believe they added more playoff teams
-
A big game against the Blue Jays in the supposed best ballpark in baseball.
Pretty wild

Making the playoffs is not much an accomplishment now. Why did they add 2 more teams when too many teams already make it?
And IMO the play in game is not the playoffs. It's a game to get into the playoffs
-
Let's be real here. Even Stevie Wonder can see they screwed up the aesthetics so bad. IMO it's not the best park anymore, at least visually.
And then you add the fact that it's going to be tough as crap to attract power hitting hitters on that side

I agree that after the 2014 season, it really changed. They let Nelson Cruz, Nick Markakis, and Andrew Miller all walk. And they signed Travis Snyder. An ALCS team that lost to the Royals by a grand total of 6 runs and was missing Machado, Wieters, and Davis for that entire series was given no chance to get better in the offseason. Compare this to the 1995 offseason, when we added Roberto Alomar to a very stacked but underachieving team and immediately got better.
My favorite Orioles teams of the last several decades were the 1989 and 2012 teams. Just so many great memories from those seasons. Had they won titles in 1997 and 2014, those teams would have vaulted to the top of the list. I really felt those were our years to win it all.
I can see 97, but that 2014 team would have been shut down by the Giants.
It is what it is. Those teams weren't even good enough to make the World Series

This has to be one of the funniest threads of all time.
The Reds are a bad high school team and they had 30k for one of the Orioles games. The Orioles could only dream of getting that support with their record.
The O's support is mediocre at best. With supposedly the best ballpark no less
-
So minor leaguish and cringe. Just awful

With a manager who looks 500 years old overnight. He should just quit
-
The play-in game is not the playoffs. It's a game to get into the playoffs
-
The wall is awful to look at. And the O's won't be able to attract right handed power hitters

They have the O's winning with 66. That's an improvement and would get them the number 1 pick again which would be wild.

It's hard to believe. Doesn't seem like he was in the Majors that long.
It would be cool as hell If they signed him Eddie Murray style for depth If they were making the playoffs and If he had any fuel left in the tank
5-4 Start not horrible but should be better

This team just isn't that good. Maybe 85 wins
