Certainly if the White Sox take our lunch money, I would think heads are going to start to roll.
Glad we are playing them this weekend. Either we turn it around or if we don’t for some reason, then heads should role and some changes be made. There won’t be an excuse of we’re facing good teams or whatever.

Share a lot of the concerns but reminder we had a similar lousy period last year between the end of May and July 4th. We were only 14 games over .500 on July 4th (49-35). So it’s not like we are far off from last year. This next series will say a lot though because there is no reason we shouldn’t take 3/4 from the Sox.

Too many non competitive offense games this year. It’s gotta change or we won’t win near 100 again. Reminds me of the Buck days. Feast or famine.

It counts because it would go down as a 2 game series. The July series where tonight’s games is being made up will be a 4 game series.

It’s why guys like Bob Davidson and Ken Kaiser had jobs for years when they were assholes and terrible at their jobs. Some never got hired back after the 99 failed negotiation tacit but some did when they settled and got first rights to jobs back. Many of the new umps aren’t good either but they aren’t the same level of jerks a lot of the guys used to be.

With a 2 run lead it should have been Cano since he was already up. The games I remember Cano blowing as a closer was when it was a 1 run game. Kimbrel shouldn’t be doing back to backs right now.

Bigger question is will this turn into one of these 3 or 4 day slumps again on offense again?
