So, you are keeping him just to pinch run.
Now, I don’t think the Os are committed to benching him at all, so this is a moot point but for discussion purposes and the idea of saying, we are playing Westburg and Ortiz at least 4-5 times a week, I can see the the idea of DFA’ing if you can’t trade him.
I think the O's will send Ortiz down to make room for Westburg.

This angers me: The O's didn't want to sign Michael Wacha this offseason that I was hoping they would, now he is 7-2 2.90 ERA, better than anyone we got, he does have a fatigued shoulder not serious though. They paid $10mil for Gibson and Wacha is much better than Gibson.

Just seems on any given day teams just don't perform their best that day, includes all sports teams.

Seattle is pumped up because they beat the Yankees 10-2 yesterday. So they are doing it to us today.

Looks like the O's bats are not in the mood today. I should be happy with a split. It could have been a major lift if we could have won today being only 1 game in the loss column behind and 3 games out.

As long as O'hearn and Hicks are productive, I do not want the O's to rid them from us. What guarantee do we have that Cowser will produce at the MLB level. We need offense this year and for the playoffs. I wouldn't lose sleep if we trade McKenna, Mateo, Stowers and Bemboom.

Why is Tyler Wells being shutdown? That's all we need is to lose our best pitcher. If management is going to just shutdown Wells for no reason, then we can forget about making the playoffs!!!!!!!
