I just want to see the offense blow the doors off Wainright in the first 3 innings. A nice 6-7 run lead would be swell.

Think they get this one in before tonight?

If I was wrong about that I apologize, but I heard or read that somewhere. I travel there once a month and there are sure a ton of construction going on. I will predict they get a MLB team one way or the other by the end of the decade.
This is what I read. https://www.wkrn.com/news/report-nashville-takes-top-spot-as-city-with-most-economic-growth-in-2021/
I have lived in Nashville my entire life, and YES, it has been exploding for the last 10-15 years. We will get a team, that is a given.

Never won 20, HOF as Yankee, so no.

Just my opinion but I would not trade/pay for anything other than quality starting and relief pitchers. I think our offense is just fine for the foreseeable.

...and at least it is not a 1st baseman named Davis!
-
Hicks is an automatic out.

We don't need Fried. This is the best team Baltimore has fielded in over 2 decades. Just let em play and enjoy it.

We will win the series against the Braves. I will be there to make sure of it.

I like to keep a positive attitude these days. So on that note at least our teams is not called the Guardians. That alone makes us winners this year.

If they move to Nashville you can all come stay at my place when you visit for a game. But honestly, Nashville is headed in the wrong direction. It is now a very blue city and is getting worse every day as far as crime goes. Nothing like Baltimore, but give it a decade or two.

Well I gave you facts. You have no facts why society is worse.
I’ll give you one…you here continuing to instigate after it was made very clear to you that he did not want to argue over his OPINION.

The Orioles will be a terrible team until they move to a better city.

I have been watching this team since 1979 and I will tell ya this is the worst one ever put on the field.
-
Hehe, this team is awful and the owner is even worse.

I still do not know a single person who has been infected or had someone close to them infected. Maybe I am just lucky, or more probably this thing was extremely overhyped.
In TN there was never a statewide lockdown like in many places. Nashville tried to lockdown but was pretty ineffective ( People here simply said “we have to go to work”)
I worked everyday last year through all this.
Maybe it is just me but I honestly thing this country has lost its collective mind over COVID hysteria.

I probably checked this site about 4-5 times a year over the last many years. Late 90’s and early 2000’s I was reading every thread. Them came all the social media etc etc. I must say now that I have removed all social media from my life and have returned to a handful of msg boards I used to frequent the quality of conversation in these old message boards is far superior to anything in the Social media realm. For that reason I shall try to participate more frequently than I have. Seriously, even when there is an argument it is handled with grace and dignity 9 times out of 10 here. I miss that world....

Personally I still do not know anyone who has had it. Just my opinion but when Mother Nature decides we need to be thinned out we will be thinned out. And honestly, we, as the human race need to be having discussions about controlling the population. This ole rock cannot continue to sustain us if we do not reduce our footprint. And no amount of legislation will do that in a significant way without including some way to reduce our numbers over time. There is your moral conundrum for the day from the crazy redneck from Nashville.

He probably watched that crappy movie with Rowdy Rody Piper and the sunglasses that let you see the aliens among us.

Have not stopped working since the bombing. Thankfully there were not hundreds of casualties because that few blocks is normally packed with people. As someone on the ground repairing the network damage all I can really tell you is we have a very soft underbelly in our infrastructure that must be fixed.

You're probably the rare exception to the rule. Congrats Bird!
Thanks, I am praying for everyone who has lost their job. Hopefully we can rebound quickly.

Have not really altered my life at all. I go to work, I go shopping, I go visit friends. Have yet to hear anyone I know personally either catch this or know anyone who has. I did have to get a new job because the lock down killed a company I was working for. It got a job paying more, and only 5 miles from my front door. Feeling blessed.
