Flaherty can't get off this team quick enough for me.He appears to have a poor demeanor about him.This was a horrible pick up. Easily Elias' worst move as g.m. It was apparent to everybody that the pitching was the weakness on this team,and Gibson,Irvin and Flaherty have not provided the lift needed to carry us through,though I do like what Gibson provides in the way of leadership. It is glaringly obvious what the need is this off season. Same as last off season. No more half measures.

Just as we are heavy with left handed hitters because of the short porch in right, we should be targeting a decent southpaw starter to take advantage of the wall in left. For me,E-Rod is the guy we should go after. That still leaves us with all of our trade options for other needs.
