Ellipsis abuse. Seriously, not every sentence needs to be ended with one.
But it makes my posts sound deeper and more profound than they really are...
Think about it...

When did US Air start charging $15 just to check your FIRST bag?

Is there anything better for a hangover than some combination of caffeine, pizza, ranch, football, wings, and off-brand Aleve? I think not.

That commercial for the weight-loss drug Lipozine. "You can't do it on your own. You just can't!"
I'm pretty sure you can if you put some effort into it lady.

I like my bagel toasted, but I hate it when the cream cheese melts. No, this is not a metaphor.

I'm supposed to be moving to Birmingham this weekend. Apparently Birmingham's City Stages (a big giant concert thing) is happening this weekend. This takes place downtown and shuts down the whole area. I'm moving to the downtown area. Guess who didn't tell me about City Stages when I told him that I was planning on moving down this weekend. The realtor.

So my mom arrived this afternoon to help me pack and I mentioned that it would be nice if I could borrow some of our more beat-up kitchen stuff from home for use in our apartment next year. Her response?"Oh, let's just go to Target and I'll buy you some stuff."
So I now have a new set of 3 frying pans, a box of silverware, several cooking spoons, measuring cups, measuring spoons, a can opener, and a large set of Tupperware. To be kept when I graduate.
I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm finally out on my own. Thanks, Mommy.
Shoot. I've been old enough to take care of myself for years, but my mom is still coming down to Birmingham with me to move into my apartment. If it wasn't for her input I'd be living in a sweet apartment w/ not much more than 2 chairs, a huge tv, and a bed.

I may be the only one, but to the new smilies. Or maybe it's just to the posters who have decided to use smilies as a new language rather than typing words. :cussing:

I just received notice that my college e-mail account will be shut down in a month. I graduated a year ago. This is going to be a pain. Would it really be too expensive to let alumni keep their e-mail accounts?
My college email got shut down shortly after I graduated, but we got alumni addresses. Those sucked so I didn't use them. My law school email is supposed to last forever though. That rules.

Was one of them the one about scheduling a "meeting"? That one was actually sort of funny, I thought.
Yeah, that was one. It wasn't bad or anything, but kind of uncomfortable.

I'm not really sure if I dislike the commercials, but so far this morning I've seen 3 commercials (incl 2 different ones) for KY Yours + Mine. I've never seen an ad for KY before, maybe it's one of those daytime tv things, but they make me uncomfortable even though I'm sitting here by myself.

This is from yesterday so I'm not still actually mad about it, but riding the subway (or PATH in this case) with a bunch of drunken teenyboppers who have no idea where they're going, aren't used to riding public transit, and have no respect for their fellow passengers sucks. Yesterday on the way to the Hoboken St. Patricks Day parade I saw 10 drunk college kids practically mug a little old lady who could barely speak English when she asked them for a seat. They tried to force her to take pictures with drunk college boys groping her in exchange for the seat until all the other passengers glared at them together. The lady's husband, who had to be at least 75 and wasn't real steady on his feat, never got a seat.
New Jersey. The land of class and sophistication.

While I'm drunk, I'm not that drunk. But this thread needs to get bumped.

Can't let this thread die... And I'm going to be hungover tomorrow.
I was correct. Ugh.

Am I the only one who can't, ummmmm, 'perform' #2 in a public bathroom? I have no problem taking a leak anywhere, but #2 is a much more personal matter. I like to do it in the comfort of my own home, and only the comfort of my own home.
Come on man, while I prefer the home front, there's nothing like dropping a bomb in foreign lands.

How did I never find this thread before???? I just ordered a pizza which I do not need for no reason. I guess I belong in this thread.

My mom backed my car into a brick wall on Friday afternoon. Scraped the back bumper all up, enough so that I needed to get it fixed. Then, late Friday night/early Saturday morning some ***** hit my parked car and left the scene. Big ol' dent in the front bumper and no note, of course. This means that I had to make two insurance claims at once and make two separate deductible payments. Ugh.
