You have watched baseball before, right? You do know that sometimes you're going to lose games you think you should win and vice versa? And you do realize that hardly anyone plays .800 ball for an extended period of time, right?
Because if he can get through the 4th and 5th scoreless that saves the bullpen a little bit.
I get that overall this has been a disaster of a start for him but it's not hard to figure out why he's still in there. You guys are smarter than this.
I would say Gibson is the starter that we have who can be great or he can also be at the opposite end of the spectrum.
Bradish, Kremer, G-Rod have been pretty consistent lately. Gibson isn't consistent.
You don't have to do anything that'll get your pitches hammered. I'd rather see him not get pitches low in the zone and keep trying for them instead of bringing the ball up and getting hammered.
Props to you for admitting you were incorrect...at least incorrect in the moment. No one around here likes to say they were wrong about something.
I will say there's a lot to like about Cease and it's puzzling as to why he's so bad. He has the tools to be much better.
Frazier giveth and Frazier taketh away.
Too hard to tell if that throw would have been close at home but at least Frazier made them cut it off and let Cedric score standing.
THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE EASIEST STOLEN BASE IN HE HISTORY OF BASEBALL according to Kevin Brown.
The easiest stolen base in the history of the entire game.
