That’s the curse of high money contracts. Some players have a personal quest for perfection and regardless of their contract will do everything possible to achieve that. The other end of the spectrum is players that hit the lotto and coast for the rest of their career. We will see where Chris places on this scale soon I think.

I checked it out and the guy that seemed to have the highest ceiling to me is Oscar Gonzalez the outfielder in Cleveland’s system. I don’t know though cause he’s only had one year of A ball. Great arm, speed, decent bat with power. Most likely would be really overmatched at the ML level though. Do prospects with very little minor league experience get taken in the rule 5 drafts??
