162 game season and yesterday teams were fighting for playoff spots in game 161, teams in game 162 fighting for a division title im not sure why people would be complaining about playoff format other than not having re-seeding. they should re-seed top team plays lowest ranked team to advance and divisions shouldnt matter in playoff seeding, Orioles and Rays should be the BYEs.

If any combination of Irvin, Flaherty, Fuji, Baumann with the locks of Gibson, Webb, Wells, Hall, Coulombe, Cano, Perez are all in the bullpen im not sure we need 13 pitchers.
Is 3 long men really needed(Gibson/Irvin/Flaherty) with days off? Hall/Wells can go more than 1. No doubt Kremer would be the one who could turn it up out of the BP opposed to Gibson BUT if Kremer can give you a start of 5 good innings as a 4th starter thats hard to pass on. -- Hyde wants to play matchups like crazy of late so i do think they'll take 13. O's love close games, old extra inning rules could be a factor in need for more length.

I am assuming this roster is the playoff roster, minus Zimmerman/Kjerstad and the 1 guy on the bubble is Fuji with two options to take his slot being Irvin/Baumann depending if Elias/Hyde want another lefty or not. -- Westburg/Mateo off the bench is good speed however that leaves no OF on the bench if the OF is Hays/Mullins/Hicks, DH Santander.
