Kevin Brown was only a one year contract and did decent but not amazing. Jimmy Key gave us one great season, got married in the offseason, and was never the same again.
We historically have had bad luck with free agent starters. Maybe that's why we are drafting pitchers like they are going out of style in the drafts the last few years.
Yeah, I was grasping for straws. I knew those two did relatively well, for only one year. That's all I could think of though. Sad.

I think several of the club reporters had it. Rich Dubroff and Britt also.
All I've seen is that he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

I'm trying to think. Have the Orioles ever signed a MLB starting pitcher as a free agent to a significant contract and he ended up performing well for them?
Chen may be the best free agent starter they ever signed.
Kevin Brown and Jimmy Key over 20 years ago?

Connaughton block vs. Butler.

Told ya! Lol

He just came up huge for the Fighting Irish in their game against Butler tonight. He hit a huge three. Then, came back on defense, went airborne and blocked a potential game tying score. The Irish have advanced to the Sweet 16. He is the unquestionable leader of that team. He has the makeup of a future closer, imo. Every O's fan should be watching the tournament and following him. Also, he could pass for Joe Nathan's twin. The resemblance is uncanny!

I'm thinking Hank shows up at the same time, as well. Remember, he was leaving the office for the day. He was not seen in the episode after that. I think he'll show up just as Walt does. We'll see. I can't wait.
I called that one.

We also know that Jesse will NOT be torching Walt's house, despite what we saw at the end of the episode. The house was abandoned and vandalized during the flash forward we saw, but I don't recall any signs of fire damage. Which leads me to believe that we are about to see a confrontation b/w Walt and Jesse, as Walt is likely headed home from the car wash, having figured out that Jesse didn't head to the car wash from Saul's office.
Long story short, Jesse could be dead by the end of the next ep!!!

Did we get him in a trade with the Twins, or sign him? I know Lenny Webster was his personal catcher and he rollerbladed with Brady down the streets of Bmore.
