Let’s not forget that it was originally a 5-0 lead. Of course it’s a little more of a gut punch to give up 4 in the 9th. It was obvious two batters in that Bautista didn’t have it tonight.

I want to believe there’s more to the story than we know. The problem I have is all these fellow broadcasters coming to his defense and calling out the Orioles. I feel like if you’re going to call out another franchise’s management, you really should have your ducks in a row and know what you’re talking about. So I am somewhat inclined to believe there’s really nothing more to the story, or a lot of broadcasters are going to have a lot of apologizing to do.

I have a hard time putting a lot on Rutschman there. It’s one thing to block a 58’ breaking ball. That was a 57’ 97mph fastball.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out Voth in a high leverage situation. Or any situation really outside of a blowout loss.

This. It’s the best money I’ve never spent. I’ve been getting the T-Mobile promotion for the last 3 years. Like several of you, the only blackouts I get are of Braves games. Hoping to catch a couple when they come to Atlanta in May.

I was at this game. Travelled all the way from Alabama to be there to see my namesake. It's the first time I had actually seen him in person.
If I remember correctly, his statue dedication was actually supposed to be earlier in the season but he had some health issue that it had to get pushed back. That actually worked in my favor because we wouldn't have been able to make the earlier game. I was so glad we made it up there. I just can't believe that's been 10 years ago already.
