Joey Ortiz with a homer tonight…sporting a 900 OPS. That would look good at 2nd.
How does DL Hall look? Works both ways.

I pretty much use the Metro when I go to Nats games. I go to the Greenbelt station, it's about a 30 minute train ride and the Metro stop os 2 blocks from the ballpark.
Tuesday night I was home by 10:30, and i live in Elkridge so basically just south of Baltimore.
Geez, Elkridge. I lived there from 1997-02 because my wife worked at Legg Mason in the city. Crazy how time flies.
I'm a metro rider whenever I can. I get that people hate it but I hate trying to drive and park even more.

Wow, that was a brutal read. I kept hoping for some silver lining at the end (besides the W). I've been there a few times and hate it. Bad stadium, total mess getting in and out, super expensive, and so forth. To lose a phone on top is terrible. I was swearing at the TV in the 9th but you had it far worse. Sorry, Frob.

Oh well, another bullpen loss. Sucks because the pen is the only thing keeping this team from being special. Unfortunately, we knew that coming into the season. When you lose Bautista, you don't replace him with a 36-year old has been.
He didn't even try. There's a lot of waiver wire fodder and AAAA arms out there.
-
Simply inexcusable.
-
Broke his bat chasing a ball a foot inside.
-
Will he finally stop trying to close games with one of his worst bullpen arms?

This is so stupid.

Mounty with three line outs. Tough game.
-
Really horrid series so far. The Nats suck.

And he’s almost able to make the throw to second in the air
Love him and everything but he's really not the defensive guy I thought he would be.

Lipscomb is my sister's neighbor. Great kid, has my nephew convinced that he can make the bigs!!!!
Ha. I know Trey well. I'm a block away in the same hood. I probably know your sister. I coached Trey's brother, with their father, for several years. My oldest son has worked out with Trey and we all hung out with him for a series in Tennessee vs. Georgia two years ago.

Stowers straight up might work for both teams.

He's 19. That just incredible.

11-0 lead and he walks the first two batters he sees? I won’t shed any tears when we move on from him.
Hopefully Wells and Grayson are back soon. They'll need spots and Tate is in Norfolk. Baumann is definitely first guy off the island.
-
No, it doesn't matter, but the O's throw three straight shutouts if Hyde uses the bullpen the right way.
-
Really? Changing the pitcher?
-
Hays, Urias and Santa likely won't be here next year. That's three spots. Elias could move (though I don't think he will) any of Mounty, Ced, ROH and Mateo.
-
Yep. Rotation is better if it stays healthy (massive fingers crossed). Grayson and Povich are around, too.
If/when some of Santander, Mullins, Hays, Kjerstad, Holliday, Mayo start producing the offense should look really good.
Replacing Bautista is impossible but I still want another power arm for the pen, though hopefully Wells replaces Baumann at some point.

Our best SP prospect for a reliever I don't even want?

Ump is brutal.

Studies show 30/30 teams fans say that about their teams manager.
Of course.

They are going to need Cowser for a key strikeout with the bases loaded after Kimbrel blows the save and it goes into extras, maybe.
He has no business managing the team.

Mounty with two Dubs and a Triple but can't buy an RBI and has only scored once.
