Interesting to hear outsiders now talking about the guys we have been talking about and anticipating for several years.

The O's didn't use their own strategy when drafting Bradfield.  They went more for speed and defense that that elite college bat.

Got to trust Elias based on the results. However, Bradfield might be his first draft flop. Based on Bradfield quotes from Spring Training, not adapting to club suggestions (maybe I misread) and the early results. For me, I don’t see the projections that we saw in Cowser or Westburg who were underrated.

…and we have our highest rated International signings there…

I know it’s too early to panic. You got Tavera/Arias/others hitting around the Mendoza. I hope they turn around- I was hoping a few fast starts like Basallo last year.

No talk of a rehab assignment for him yet?  I'll be surprised if he's here before July.  I guess a healthy Bradish this year is a bonus.

I was being optimistic. I wish we signed Bauer or Montgomery or simple traded for pitching.

I have yet to see him take a decent swing.  Orioles might have taken on more than they could handle in making him into a major leaguer.

Seems overmatched, hard to see an impact hitter in any at-bats.

Wished they drafted Bryce Eldridge instead.

Tavera is a participant in the spring breakout game so we’ll get a look at him there hopefully, assuming he gets in the game.

I’m hoping to get a look at Almeyda and other young minor leaguers at Twin Lakes once I get down there later this week.

Good to know- happy to hear any insight if you get an eye on them. I have high hopes on Tavera- hoping for a five tool star player.

From what I understand, the “professional” autograph seekers wore him out. He apparently caught wind of the amount of cards he signed in person that were being sold online by these people, and so he started to shut it down.

    Glad someone gave another perspective.

Scott Boras outflanking Dan Duquette to get to Peter was a tough moment in franchise history.

It probably colors many of our impressions and makes the thought of ideally 5-6 current Orioles actually deserving to earn more than Chris Davis in time for their baseball ability a little anxiety inducing.

Chris Davis was a risky player profile for a Club to make that kind of investment in.     Duquette knew it at that time.     Adley's going to be a lot more risky than Gunnar or Holliday, and get there sooner.

It may not be a popular opinion, I would not give Adley that 7 or 10 year extension. When you look at Mauer, Posey and even Weiters on how short live being catcher is - low ROI. Plus, Adley was somewhat an older rookie.
