  1. I think this really needs to be a separate thread about Jackson Holliday’s arm. I immediately noticed during spring training that he only soft throws. Ben McDonald tried to say on the broadcast of the Royals game that Henderson has timing in his throws and so does Jackson. That is absolutely not accurate. Henderson can throw it as fast as he needs to and at any time can unleash a serious throw with heat on it. I have yet to see Jackson throw a ball hard to Mountcastle. I thought the throwing arm was what was keeping him in AAA and they were working on that with him, but just didn’t want to announce it to the world that the kid has arm problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t have some type of lingering arm issue and he’s afraid of throwing hard because that could endanger his goals of getting to and staying in the major leagues. I could imagine it’s his secret or it’s a secret within the organization. Just because a player has an injury or some type of issue doesn’t mean that they’re going to disclose that to the general public. They knew about Kyle B injury in January and did not disclose that until after the Corbin B trade. I also know that it’s not an optical illusion or anything because the runners, even those that are not that fast, are almost beating out his throws. I only saw this article after I noticed the weak throws. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/no-1-prospect-jackson-hollidays-one-flaw/ I know there’s been some discussion in the other topics, but I think this is very serious and needs attention immediately.
