  1. .700-750 OPS That will be mostly against LHP though.
  2. I get the feeling he thinks he’s faster than a speeding bullet and it’s worked before. I think you’re right. He has to adjust to the level of competition. Defenses are going to keep getting better as he moves up. He can’t expect defenses to make mistakes.
  3. Kjerstad is 3 years older. I think there’s a chance that Mayo is better in the long run but it’s certainly no slam dunk as far as I’m concerned. Now, if Mayo was a decent 3B I’d be more inclined to give the significant edge to him but that doesn’t seem likely on this team unless Elias likes my ideas which seems even less likely.
  4. Here’s a question for you Doctor. Are Bradish and Miller considered players with existing injuries or players whose injuries have healed?
  5. I’m just saying that just about any contender could put together some enticing package. Of course, we’re capable of beating any of those. If our package was Mayo and Bradfield I don’t assume that’s an unbeatable package.
  6. Those were the good old days. Now, I’m more like 30 pounds overweight.
  7. Good chance Mayo plays RF or 1B eventually. Are you convinced he’s going to be significantly better than Kjerstad? If so, why?
  8. Coby Mayo’s odds of being a significant contributor this year? 10%? 20%? Enrique Bradfield. .0009% Mason Miller for this year, 50% or better. Coby Mayo’s odds of being an all-star caliber player during his career. 30-50%. Enrique Bradfield - 10-30% Mason Miller - 50% or better
  9. You disappoint me. Durocher’s most famous line. “Nice guys finish last.”
  10. How ridiculous! Only 17 ML relief appearances. No way I’m trading two guys with no ML appearances between them! Ridiculous! Does Waynesburg College have the New York Yankees or Baltimore Orioles on their schedule? I kind of remember him dominating both teams within days of each other for saves.
  11. You’re right so this is not the thread for you or @Moose Milligan. Why are you guys putting yourself through this. Goodbye!
  12. I sense that he has an inordinate supply of spaghetti. Don’t clean the walls just yet.
