  1. Anyone that chose Wells over GRod didn’t read the prompt very well
  2. And I am not. I will give him a full year for evaluation.
  3. I think part of the issue is that he is generating his power with the leg kick. Probably made sense to see if he could get away with it. And maybe he will.
  4. Having him on my fantasy team, I see his lines daily. I was remembering the BS and loss as separate. Good catch by you. He has given up runs in 6/15 appearances. He has 3 losses and only has 4 clean appearances out of 15. Coulombe, e.g., has given up runs in 4/16 appearances. He also has 8 clean appearances, though to be fair Kopech generally has longer appearances. Kopech has good stuff but will cost too much given the uncertainty of him in high leverage situations.
  5. Leg kick still looks too big to me, but I guess we will see. It just seems like he has trouble getting it down when it’s supposed to.
  6. Kopech has not show the ability to close. He has blown multiple saves and generally hasn’t had much success in high pressure situations. The arm is very lively, but the command is a problem. He is likely to be nearly as frustrating a Fuji.
  7. Why not Mayo at 3B and Westburg at 1B? Mayo has the stronger arm. Westburg is 6’2” and has good hands.
  8. This will all be great if he spends. Otherwise it is just a guy looking to get some fame from his purchase of the team like Bill Veeck but not near as crazy.
  9. Link for this so I can see the comments on their side.
  10. He wasn’t exactly lighting it up in college either. Every scouting report and every prospect review says the swing is a problem, yet I am am the one that is speaking out of school to say that it is while you are the sane one for saying it’s fine?
  11. Somehow a day later Gunnar’s OOA hasn’t budged despite the leaping play yesterday. I just don’t understand OOA.
  12. Why would you send Kremer to the pen? He will be here next year. Means will not. Move him to the pen.
  13. Hunter Pence’s swing was always effective. The issue was it looked ugly. He hit 28 and 31 homers in his only two full seasons in the minors.
  14. I know enough to know if a swing looks different. You can’t tell?
  15. True, but he had all winter to work on things and the swing doesn’t look different.
