Someone not so tech savvy gave this dude some bad advice on the hacked Tweet excuse. Just tell everyone you were hacked. yikes!
I don’t think he should have scrubbed his old Tweets either. Unless the team asks him to now. They show he cared/cares about the team.

Is this the same guy that gave the Orioles an F and F- for their trades of Lopez and Mancini?

I think they reach the same record but for different reasons. Once the Astros had “liftoff” they followed up with a similar season. Then it was blastoff the following season.

Germany v Spain is the best game I’ve seen so far. Happy to see us beat Iran after all the drama.
Exciting World Cup so far but not a fan of the location.

Oh, there are plenty of people here who wanted Nelson back. I have a memory of running a poll about it, but I can’t find it. Let’s just say most would not have matched Seattle’s number, but there was a healthy minority who would have. I definitely wouldn’t have, and still hold that view now even though Cruz proved to be a unicorn.
Maybe this one?

“Former slugging outfielder Carlos Beltrán, who belted 435 home runs and stole 312 bases during a 20-year MLB career, appears on the ballot for the first time, as does former All-Star closer Francisco Rodríguez and his 437 career saves. Other notable first-timers are Huston Street, Matt Cain, John Lackey, R.A. Dickey, Jered Weaver, Bronson Arroyo, Jacoby Ellsbury, Andre Ethier, Mike Napoli, Jhonny Peralta, J.J. Hardy and Jayson Werth.”

Eovaldi is one of these pitchers who can drive you crazy. Super talented, but inconsistent game to game and even within starts, and often hurt. Unfortunately, that seems to be a pretty common thread among the second tier pitchers.
Sounds like Ubaldo 2.0

Maybe it’s all those throws from the knees and falling away?

It's mostly about talent.
As I alluded to earlier I don't think 2022 Hyde was an appreciably better manager than the 2019-2021 version.
Someone has to win and sure, he's the best choice but I don't think anyone reads much into it.
Hyde said almost this exact thing in his post-season interview with Elias.
You could also say this about any team where the manager gets the award.

Last I checked he also had the most AB's and games played of anyone else in AFL.
Edit: He has the most AB's and for the players near him he has the better OPS by pretty good margin. He's got nearly double the AB's of the guys ahead of him in OPS.

"The Rawlings Gold Glove Award® represents overall fielding excellence, and it is not an award based solely on fielding metrics and statistics, nor does it factor in offensive production."
Isn't the last bit contradictory?
QuoteSABR Defensive Index
The SABR Defensive IndexTM (SDI) is a measure of the number of runs saved by a player's defensive performance over the course of a season, compared to the average defensive player at that position. The SDI combines measures from six (6) different defensive data sources and includes factors that rate the defenders arm strength and accuracy, range and his sure-handedness, along with the number of “excellent” and “poor” fielding plays he makes. The SDI also incorporates a rating for a player's ability to turn double plays (2B and SS), fielding bunts (primarily P, C, 3B, and 1B) and scoops of throws in the dirt (1B). For catchers, blocking balls in the dirt and stolen bases/ caught stealing are also included. For pitchers, the SDI includes his ability to hold runners on base and control the running game.A positive SDI number indicates that a player was above average compared to other players at his position this season. Conversely, a negative SDI number means the player performed below the league average at this position this season.

I might have to get active on Twitter again just to follow Ben’s comments.

Marty Cordova remains sunburn to this day and I’ll never get the drunk party pic of Ponson out of my head.

Over his last 7 games he has a 1.23 ERA and 1.09 WHIP.

Steady diet of low and away all weekend and got the results we wanted and then some.
I also got some enjoyment from yelling at the TV for the Yankee fans to sit down since they stood for every one of his ab’s. The strike outs were icing. Yankees tears
Bradish mocking his check swing was also hilarious and I’m glad he didn’t get tossed for it.
Ben is without a doubt my favorite broadcaster. Already was but now he’s leveled up to hero mode.

Nothing but impressed with this guy. My favorite prospect we’ve brought up this season.
Love his demeanor and game face as well. Definitely does not carry himself like a typical 21 y/o.

I’ll go Norby since he’s from my alma mater.
