Seems like a lot of bat movement before the swing.

Paying market rates will attract free agent pitching. There was never going to be a discount for the wall. If Elias truly believes that, then I think he is mistaken.
I didn't hear him say anything about a discount. Hope he's not thinking that's the case.

Elias has clearly stated that the wall move was to attract free agency pitching. Now that they have the evidence that the wall change has helped the Orioles pitchers let's see what they do in the offseason.

That's what I did also, but clearly I didn't do it right!
Really all you need is the url up to and including the the number of the Tweet.
So this, https://twitter.com/BSLOnTheVerge/status/1565408014479376384
You may need to toggle the rich text popup at the bottom to get it to show.

They had the Astros 2015 playoff odds at 13.5% and they made the playoffs.
I can only deduce from this that the Orioles will win the WS in two more years.

Just ask Heston Kjerstad.
He's starting to hit a bit more of late. Still not showing any power though.

Wicked sounding crack of the bat in that video.

Cool light show! Love Omar but kind of wished they did something with The Mountain.
Also missed opportunity to use the line right after the whistle. “You come at the king, you best not miss.”

This thread is interesting timing as I was thinking the other day that Brown and McDonald have been hitting their stride of late. Ben might be the best I’ve heard on breaking down pitching sequences and shapes of pitches. Being a person who never played the game I appreciate his level detail when explaining the art of pitching. And how many times has he guessed right on the next pitch?? Maybe that’s not so hard but Brown always seems surprised saying things like, “you willed that pitch into existence!”, lol.

The in-stadium experience is as good as any sport, the athleticism is great, the strategy is layered and nuanced. Just like baseball outsiders think nothing is going on, but everything is going on, everyone on the field has to intuitively know what their role in the system is. And once you've watched a good game that has 45 minutes without a commercial break you'll find it hard to go back to other sports. American football is jarring... flip over on TV... I thought Maryland was on, oh that's right, they are, there's just a thee-minute commercial every four minutes. If you turn to soccer you know what's on? Soccer. Weird, right?
I primarily watch these two sports as well and this is about as best a description as could be said. I think if Brown does talk about soccer he could mention it from the “strategy is layered and nuanced” angle rather than individual teams and it might be more interesting to someone who doesn’t watch soccer a lot.

I’m not finding this “combativeness” comment anywhere.

Dude sounds like he's announcing golf.

I guess Santander since his performance is peaking and he's closer to free agency.

This is going to be tough. Not looking forward to this Blue Jays lineup.

Definitely seems that way. Retweeting articles from ESPN writers no one’s heard of before.

What’s the hurry to trade Santander? I guess everyone should be available. But just wondering why his name keeps coming up.

I’ll go Norby since he’s from my alma mater.
