  1. I agree with SG on this one. Duke's lack of an inside game really hurt them in the second half last night. It's going to be a problem for them all year, especially against some of the bigs in the ACC. Henderson is really good, and Singler is ok, and will certainly improve. SG's son Zoubek is just terrible though, they need to find someone who can bang inside.
  2. Ha! That's not the point Mr. Shields sir. Granted, Kentucky and Ohio State were better, but still a road win is a road win is a road win is a road win. yes, I said that 4 times to emphasize the 4 road wins in a row;)
  3. I believe that. He's a pretty intense guy. Everyone says Hansb-o-rough, that drives me nuts too, but it's a petty thing of course.
  4. Very nice effort AT Rutgers tonight. Dominated from start to finish, and if not for Tyler getting hurt at the end, it would have been a perfect way to end the road stretch. He's fine, and Fred Hill apologized to Coach Williams after the game (even though it was a clean play Gerald Henderson fans), but seeng him laying there for 3 minutes wasn't good for my heart.
  5. You're the best, man, truly the best. No worries, I think the Terps will be ok soon. They just need more time on the floor together.
  6. Very true, but I really like the fact that the Heels are playing all of these road games in December. By the way, how bad is Maryland? I had thought it would be a down year for them, but wow, losing at home to Ohio. They'll be ok in a few months, but no ACC team should ever lose at home to Ohio.
  7. Ok, i do remember them playing MSU at the palace, but I guess that was a different year. They play Temple in Philly, but I don't think at their building. Michigan, yes. I wonder why they have no problem going there. I don't think K is "scared" per se, but it is easier not to face the hostility of an on campus arena. But even a die hard Duke fan can't deny that's they are one of the few teams that doesn't play road games non conference.
  8. They played Michigan State at the Palace, not the Breslin Center.. As for Rutgers, that's not the point who and where it is. The Fact that it's a real road game is what I'm discussing here. Ohio State and Kentucky are down this year, but we still went into their arenas and played. As you do know, Carolina tries to schedule a game in a players' hometown at some point in their careers. That explains Rutgers (Green), Penn (Ellington), and St Louis (Hansbrough)last season.
  9. I mean in a team's gym, not Illinois in the United Center, or Temple/Villanova at whatever the Sixers place is called now. The Heels will have four this month after going to the RAC to play Rutgers this Sunday...I'm betting Duke doesn't have 4 this decade. I do recall them going to Michigan at some point, but I honestly can't think of any others.
  10. Why, because they were against better teams? I'd just like to see Duke go into another gym ONCE. That's not too much to ask, is it? Just once. Come on.
