On the bright side, that fan got the coolest in-game souvenir possible, his glove.

    Article in the Athletic:

"While López said something after the call, it wasn’t aggressive until De Jesus responded, at which point, it did escalate. Not to harp on it, but umpires: Stop making things worse on purpose.

I’m defending López, exactly. On his way off the mound, he threw his glove into the stands. Cool souvenir, but not exactly professional. After the game, he insisted he did not regret doing that, going on to say that either the Mets were the “worst team in the whole f—ing MLB” or he has looked like “the worst teammate, probably, in the whole f—ing MLB.” "

  2. Same thoughts regarding the pricing.  One day, I could see us treating another couple to one of those special sections, but certainly not on the regular.  I love my regular seats (Sec 55) and wouldn't want to move.

There are several opportunities on the survey to write in "other" thoughts.  I used those spaces for "better sound, better scoreboard/jumbotron."  And, in the F&B section I said, "more beer choices, and do we really have to have the most expensive beer in MLB?"

A month's subscription is worth it just to watch Severance season 1. Add in one or two O's games and cancel after a month and I'd call it a good value.

Slow Horses, and of course, Ted Lasso as well.

"The Guardians need to upgrade right field for the short- and long-term and acquiring Kjerstad, the second overall pick in the 2020 draft, would accomplish both aims."

In this trade, the Orioles would acquire two solid, controllable relievers to help fortify their bullpen. Gaddis, 26, has posted a 2.87 ERA in 17 appearances for Cleveland this season with 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings and 1.7 walks per nine. Smith, 24, has logged a 2.30 ERA and 1.43 FIP over 16 appearances this year, his first in the big leagues, with 13.8 strikeouts per nine (24 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings).

Seems reasonable to me, a swap of controllable assets.

    Your thoughts?

The pitch clock addition has be a major change for me. My wife watches most games with me now and she's even yelling at the tv at times.

Same thing at my house!  She's now calling for a 6-4-3 double play.  Crazy.

McKenna will be a free agent next year, and could potentially be a 4th/5th OF fit for many of the teams in the bottom third of the league...  I'm sure he'll sign elsewhere to get a shot at an MLB roster, as he's not high enough on our depth chart anymore for any lengthy shot at ours.

Pretty sure he became a free agent when he was non-tendered last fall.  He's playing on an MiLB contract.
