    Not sure where my head is.....tomorrow (today) is not going to be fun day. Can't sleep. I'm posting this because a friend in Winston-Salem, NC said he was going to see them perform tonight.

    Psychedelic drugs didn't affect my hearing (any more than any of the other bad influences... concerts, headphones, machine shops, car stereo) but acid stripped me of my sense of smell. ;)

    Completely gone. Not like 40-80 vision... like someone plucked my eyeballs out with a fork. No sense of smell whatsoever.

    Small price to pay for Rock 'N' Roll!

    Wow! Not being able to smell the roses is no small loss......but as you say, perhaps a small price to pay for living and breathing Rock & Roll. Perhaps I've been lucky, but all that I have ingested, inhaled, and imbibed over the last 55 or so years seems to have had no ill effects. Just plain old age has done the damage.

    Yeah.....Brian Roberts screwed up a perfectly good night - the O's 5-3 win over Tampa Bay - by hitting that solo HR in top of the 9th to give the Yankees a 4-3 over the Angels. Now we are back in a virtual tie for 1st place. SUCKS!!

    Cover of israeli guitarist Andy McKees instrumental "Drifting." The kid playing it - on TWO guitars - is 13 year old Jason Kertson, I think those of us who play guitar - or any instrument - will appreciate this.
