2 guys I want Cole Wilcox, he a big kid 6'5. Or JT Ginn, perfect spot for Ginn he just had TJ surgery. With no minor league season he wouldn't pitch anyway. Hopefully Ginn is really good friends with Westburg, it could help.

Not really sold on this kid. Not enough contact.

JUCOs are going to be STACKED if baseball returns next spring. We'll see a huge surge in the number of 4-year college players entering the minors, too, because if I'm a college junior who would've gone 6-10, I may as well go back and try again next season instead of signing for $20k.
The players that don't get drafted out of high school can go to a 4 year college and get drafted next year. The 3 year thing only applies to if they were taken when they were high school seniors. That's why some kids go the JUCO route.

Had Stage III colon cancer as well. Wish I never did Chemo. It metastasized after I did the Chemo. Refused all cancer treatments after that, been five years. Doctors said I would live 2 years max if I refused chemo. I sit in an infrared sauna every day. Keep temperature up. Changed diet, cut out all processed foods, fried foods, and sugar. Doctors said I was committing suicide with my plan. They knew better. Had a couple of nodules pop up and had them removed with surgery and cyber knife. Did a lot of research and knew chemo was a scam. The oncologists have a bullet proof sales pitch. IF you die, they blame the cancer, if it comes back they say you have an aggressive form of cancer and repeat what didn't work the first time. If it works they saved your life.

Doubtful that this deal is close. Every writer in the country knows the Orioles wants to trade arbitration eligible players. So these writers create a story out of thin air, the rest of the media run with the story sourcing the original story. Does anyone really think that someone in the Orioles front office is calling this idiot up and saying we are close to a Bundy deal, write a story about it. It's what the news is nowadays, just a bunch of BS to try to get likes and followers on social media. So now a bunch of oriole fans will start following this idiot, hoping he breaks some news...he won't. Now he gained 1k more followers.

1) It’s not that simple I don’t think. In order to train them I think they would have to put him on waivers first which would make him available to every team
We don’t have a replacement for him, and it would be a terrible move to dump your best defender because he’s not hitting, especially when at least two players are hitting worse.
My comment was a proposal to rule 5 change. Ideas to rule 5 picks in the future to be address by MLB, I used Martin as an example.

Lets use Martin as an example. Instead of staying up all year with the big club, knowing he is over matched at the plate. Offering Oakland 250k to keep him on the 40 man roster and allow him to play at AAA. Oakland most likely would take the money and Baltimore would most likely pay the amount to allow him to move too AAA. Or a figure up to 500k might be appropriate.

I think the Orioles want to have him at each level this year. From GCL up, only to get each one of the affiliates get a possible bump in attendance with the #1pick.

He's not Zion Williamson. We aren't the New York Yankees. There won't be a "media circus" for his first AB.
Half the national media doesn't even know who Adley is, what college team he played for or what team drafted him

I think he starts on in Florida to get used to the area, find a place to live. Since the orioles anticipate him being with the big league club in a couple of years. He can claim residency, good for tax purposes, since Florida has no state income tax. And it will be his home every spring training.
2020 Round 3 (74): Anthony Servideo - SS - (Junior)(Mississippi)
in O's Amateur Draft and International Signings

Looks like we are cornering the market on shortstops. 3 in the first 5 rounds last year, 2 in the first 3 rounds this year. Are we ever going to draft a pitcher or a corner infielder .
