  1. Urias will get some starts there but I think Westburg will get the most.
  2. NP. I just don’t think they keep him this long with all hype to pull the plug.
  3. Holliday missed time?
  4. I get that. This isn’t some ordinary prospect or an arm that is batting for the last spot in the pen. He is the number 1 prospect in the sport. If I sending him down I’m not waiting until a week of games are left and 10 days from OD.
  5. Because it keeps building his hype. One week of games left. Norby has no chance. Why would you tease someone this long and then send him back to Norfolk? He had no chance last year.
  6. Agree 100% with Redbird. If Holliday was not going to make the team they weren’t going to keep him around this long. I think it’s possible not likely that Webb is let go for someone else.
  7. That was the problem. It was a Pirates spring broadcast. All about Pirates. MLB kept promoting the game. Use announcers from both teams. I don’t expect watching a road Orioles spring game to be about the Orioles but MLB has to promote these games differently.
  8. Good idea for the games. I guess they can’t cover all the games with National announcers but MLB should tell the teams to cover the games differently. When they had Mayo in the booth it was better. Invite announcers from other team in booth. Also I don’t think it’s a bad idea to allow some rookies as well. Players like Kjerstad and Cowser types. Not someone like Gunnar but players with less experience who still qualify as prospects.
  9. He doesn’t have to play vs all the LHP. He is going to sit some anyway.
  10. Elias had every chance to downplay Holliday this off-season and did the opposite. Then they keep playing him in the spring. He is making the team.
  11. Here is list. First game is today. At Twin Lakes. https://www.mlb.com/orioles/spring-training/minor-leagues
  12. Nice report. My father in law was there today and will be at those games as well. Watching two games Thursday will be fun. I think they may even try squeezing in a minor league spring game tomorrow.
  13. Yeah. I’m hoping it’s an arm. Two solid options. If we can find one gem for the pen out of the new guys that’s a win.
  14. How is it flipping channels? A pain?
  15. I know I have read in past that “Little League” is down but that is due to more travel ball. Either way it’s good the numbers are up.
