  1. LOL, again, I hope Hall ends up starting for us too. A lot of my thinking he may end up as a great reliever is our not so great record of developing starting pitchers.
  2. I was just sharing that I wasn't the only one. I agree with you that he is more valuable as a starter. Just not sure if that ship sailed.
  3. Jim Palmer follows him so that is good enough for me.
  4. I get it. Especially being a lefty. Circumstances may dictate otherwise.
  5. Yes and if we lose Felix until 2025 then him finally coming around and as a dominant reliever would be a godsend.
  6. If DL Hall can take the Zach Britton failed prospect as a starter/highly effective relief pitcher I would take that at this point.
  7. Yes three days in a row is malpractice and a sure way to lead to injury. This isn't 2010 anymore after all.
  8. Not me....but I fully endorse this jersey number.
  9. Uh oh that's two meh outings in a row for Webb.
  10. We see it all the time. Dave Roberts and Davey Martinez especially love doing this.
  11. I continue to be absolutely fascinated how modern pitchers are handled. Dude was DOMINANT through 7 and only 86 pitches. And you opt to turn it over to a bad bullpen. Just wow.
  12. Next man up. Gonna hurt not having the Mountain for two post seasons.
  13. Funny I have the complete opposite take. Why handle a pitcher with kid gloves since it doesn't seem to prevent injuries?
  14. I will be at the game tonight. I would give back my Mountain bobblehead for good news.
  15. I will rephrase. It doesn't mean he will require Tommy John surgery like was originally being hinting at.
  16. Hall coming up does not in any way indicate the severity of the injury.
  17. I blame the injury on pitching Bautista back to back nights. We need to be more careful moving forward.
  18. Yep. They all break. Which is why it's so dumb to be so careful with counting pitches and limiting innings like is the modern practice. Pitchers get injured just like they always have. The difference is back in the day you were actually using your best pitchers and not limiting their time on the field.
  19. Again. Are we at the point now where a reliever needs two full days rest after throwing two innings? This is so ridiculous. And it just gets more and more absurd. The pitch count gods must be appeased.
