And Craig strikes out a lot too so it hasn’t hurt us too bad so far, but it’s nerve wracking and it’s going to kill me in October lol.

Can somebody pull stats on how our staff ranks in time to the plate compared to others around the league? Feels like most of our guys are slow and Adleys throws are usually rushed.
I really can’t stand having a closer that is as slow as Kimbrel. It’s going to hurt us in one run games. Same with Felix but he strikes everybody out anyways.

Who are these clowns in the radio booth?

If our people assessed the situation as a whole and decided it was best for the team, than yea I’m for it. If they don’t think it’s worth the backlash/media circus or they think it would be a hit to clubhouse morale, then I agree with that decision.
That being said, the guy is an absolute weirdo with poor character just based off the facts of the case even if he didn’t commit any crimes. But we put up with character flaws with players that help our favorite team win games.

One has to kind of wonder whether they’ve kind of thrown in the towel this year after losing Acuña. That was such a huge blow.
They won a World Series without him but with Strider out already it was a double whammy.

By "surprisingly ok" I assume you mean his strike zone was predictably terrible, as opposed to being a complete and utter abomination. This was his last game behind the plate. Notice a pattern?
He was quite good last night actually.

CB Bucknor was surprisingly ok tonight

Are umpires worse than they always have been or does every broadcast now having a box that we can use to judge every call off of just skewing it in our minds?

I was sprinting to my fantasy baseball waiver wire to grab Colton before that ball landed

I actually thought it was amusing because Kevin got Ben to talk about "Love Language"...its funny...I believe Ben's wife is either a doctor or therapist or some sort of highly educated person..and it shows Ben as a " country boy"...Once I had Ben on my show...and Ben gave me(on the air) a recipe for "Squirrel Stew".it was a riot...I think baseball announcers should have leeway and be able to digress from the game...Harry Caray and Steve Stone did it all the time...I love Kevin Brown...but you know that...but between Palmer and Ben..I think we have a very entertaining team...
Vin Scully as well. I miss him so much. KB and Ben are awesome as well.

Burnes vs. Hall would have been better
G Rod and Hall is the more personal storyline because they are such great friends and were the two top guns coming up together
Maverick vs Goose

I would be happy if they moved it maybe halfway between where it is and where it was, and perhaps lower it a bit.
-
Very bummed that we just barely missed out on a Rodriguez vs Hall matchup
-
Maybe we should strike while the iron is hot and flip Stowers/Norby for some pitching tonight

I prefer a laugher because it means most or all of our players are thriving

Just out of curiosity, does anyone purchase the apparel for division champs? I always think about it but I’ve never pulled the trigger on getting that stuff.
Thinking about it.
It bothers me that the hats just say “Division Champs” instead of AL East champs lol

No that’s been an iconic part of Fenway for over 100 years
Ours is just ugly lol

Ball is flying today. I didn’t think that was gone off the bat.

The fact that 2018 pushed him under .500 is a travesty

Seems like we go to the well too frequently with the high heat

Fingers crossed for a contract extension.

What could this be about?

Melanie Newman: Bautista possibly back for September/October?

The other day she said “Cowser puts a charge into one..” and I thought he smoked an extra base hit or even a homer but her sentence finished
“..but it will be caught behind first base.”
A pop up!
