Man I will never forget that summer of ‘13, even though the team wasn’t as good as ‘12 or ‘14.
Thanks for the memories Chris.

His change is a splitter and yea it’s a gross combo with the 100mph fastball lol

Fun fact:
Josh Towers has the best single season BB/9 mark in Orioles history.
He walked 16 guys in 140.1 innings in his 2001 rookie season for a BB/9 mark of 1.0.
Interestingly enough I just looked at the place where I first found this out and Towers’ season isn’t even listed anymore. Was 140 innings not enough to qualify? https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/BAL/leaders_pitch_season.shtml

I don’t feel the way Tony does about Mussina, but I also would not retire his number. He’s in the Orioles Hall of Fame, and that’s enough.
Twelve people have worn that number over the years since Mussina left:
Adam Plutko (2021) Dwight Smith Jr. (2019-2020) Brad Brach (2014-2018) Danny Valencia (2013) Bill Hall (2012) Omar Quintanilla (2012) Brad Bergesen (2009-2011) Greg Aquino (2008) Daniel Cabrera (2004-2007) Rick Helling (2003) Matt Riley (2003) Josh Towers (2001-2002) Before Mussina, Mike Cuellar and Wally Bunker (among others) also wore no. 35.

Dude, just stop. I raised a question about him, and Tony gave a good reply to it. What your doing is the opposite of a good reply.
You hit me with a “everybody knew that” when I just provided more context to your original reply but ok sir you got it

I didn't mention the SO's because I was pretty sure that every single person here already knew it.
You’re the only one who knew he has a high walk rate then?
Seemed more like you’re writing him off without the full context of how he’s performed.

26 years old and only 13.1 innings in AA - with 11 walks.
You forgot to mention that he punches out 17 per 9 and gave up 2 whole hits in those 13.1 innings.
Im not crowning him yet I’m just saying he has shown dominant stuff and nobody is talking about him. I’ve seen every outing up close. He’s impressive.

I finally get to see Adley play and Bowie gets no hit. He and Stowers couldn’t catch up with FB from Luis Severino, who I guess was on injury rehab. Stadium gun had Severino 90-92 on the FB but our guys couldn’t touch it.
Stowers swung and missed at at least 4 FB above the belt. Late on every one.
The stadium gun there is terrible. Had Grayson at 103 lmao
Also will mix in a 55 here and there.

Going to triple A with Adley

Best kept secret in our org at the moment in my opinion…

Guys I decided to try gambling on the O’s tonight so let’s pull this one out.
Only $25 nothing serious but I was still screaming at the tv when Flores didn’t send the runner in the 2nd lol.
I need some magic.

The outfield defense wants you to lose. The infield defense, too.
No kidding lol. At least Cobb is hangin tough.

Probably right to hold him but I think we would have had a very interesting play at the plate if Williams went home there.

There had to have been an error somewhere on that play???
Would be nice if MASN could give us a better replay showing the whole field.

This game is insane lol

He’s got no idea where the ball is going

Would be nice to have Bleier in this spot

LETS GOOOOO
THAT WAS TERRIBLE LOL

Was gonna complain about the over aggressiveness after Neris couldn’t find the zone against the worst hitter on the planet but hey...it has worked lol. Tie ballgame.

Yes third.
If they cut it off you get in a run down, get the trail runner to second and we got a run. These are the little things that we are lacking as a club.
Granted we are lacking a lot of big things as well
