why did Bautista not pitch a 2nd inning?
Because Hyde. *Sigh* Because Hyde...
I always feel like he's throwing the game when I see Akin and Baker coming in.

We dont deserve to win. We deserve to lose. We should just go give Tampa the pennant right now and ask to shine their shoes.
Delete this.

Showtime is a bad, bad man. Love the way he plays the game. With that said, the boys still in it. They make it a tough out for any team in the MLB. Bottom 9th will be no different.
Let's go, boys!

Trey, the best of luck to you. I will be rooting for the Astros in the playoffs once the Orioles are eliminated!
We're winning it all, playa!
With that said, thanks for the good times, AK-Trey! Good luck in Houston.

Reading these comments just makes me chuckle and sad how much I miss Gary Thorne. Orioles are outta pocket for letting my mans go.

Nothing is sacred anymore. But also with time, I'm sure most will get used to it.

Aww man, that sucks. Condolences to his family, friends and the OH community. Rest in paradise, friend.

The end with Andino saying "Take ya *** home" will always be so good. So, so good.

I did not see that Weams passed. Though I've only interacted with him once or twice in my time here, he was definitely a beacon of the community. And from what has been shown throughout this thread, well loved. Sleep in peace, friend. Condolences to his family, friends and the Hangout community.

Every time I see Hyde put Tate in the game, I always feel that we're instantly throwing. Ugh...

And now the chickens are coming home to roost for the quick pull
One of the reasons I dislike Hyde. I feel he blows his load way too often with the quick pull, ugh.

Not really. Think about it. Gary Thorne didn't come to terms until August last year. So he missed basically 1st half of O's season. On top of that it was a 1 year contract. He wasn't fired, he just wasn't resigned. Just like any other FA.
Yeah, that's all fine and good as that's business. With that being said, that doesn't mean I can't be upset that O's are letting go my favorite broadcaster. Which is why I thought it was cruel and stone cold. Many come and go and one day I'll get used to their voices as well but I'll miss my guy G-Thorne.

I'm so heartbroken about Thorne. The others as well, but Gary Thorne was that man to me. So cruel, Angelos Boys. So cruel!

With a tear in my eye, yes!
A lot of folks were sleeping on my mans G Thorne.

I think he put Davis in because we all know this is the last dance for him in an Orioles uniform.

Rio with the stroke yet again.

Oh, and I forgot to mention I saw four 20 game winners the SAME season!
Man, that must've been a sight to see! I'm closer to the OP far as thing I've never seen an Oriole accomplish. Us late 80's babies had it rough! Haha

He transformed the Ravens offense in one off-season from mediocre to the best one ever seen in franchise history. He turned it into an offense that scored more points than ANY OTHER NFL TEAM.
That's all.
You can't hyper focus in on the one playoff loss while simultaneously ignoring the 12 games we won in a row (against some pretty decent teams).
That's my point, it wasn't just the playoff loss. It was other games as I stated in the post. Guess we'll see what he's really made of since I'm sure we'll come back down to earth this year. But I'm all for another historical run, but I wouldn't bet on it. Greg Roman for me leaves a lot to be desired as I believe 90% of his success was because Lamar is an out of this world player.
