    <p><p><p>Thanks for the rep. I think that mdbdotcom nailed it in his post. It makes sense because the guys pitching in the seventh inning on have good stuff and are only going to throw 30 pitches or so. You are not going to wear those pitchers out by taking strikes. You are more likely to be looking at an 0-2 or 1-2 count. </p></p></p>
