  1. Don't know what Villar was looking for there, but it wasn't that. Pulled a K Davis.
  2. Ruiz comes through again. Two run single. One out. Two on. Villar coming up.
  3. Yep. The fewer, the better. This season, next season and maybe even the season after that. Also, are you just going to attempt to gloat every game? Seriously?
  4. Ok, bases loaded with one out. Ruiz coming up. Ottavino coming in for NY.
  5. With the way Torres is murdering us right now, you could bounce a ball to the plate and he'd hit it out.
  6. Alberto hitting .321 now and .776 OPS.
  7. FWIW, that low pitch was a strike on GameDay. The top quarter of the ball hit the bottom of the zone.
  8. That would be typical, wouldn't it? Maybe a drop in velocity was partly responsible for his bad 2018 season after the great 2017 season. As they should.
  9. Not this time. Is that the first IBB we've done this year?
  10. His scouting report said he topped out at 90-91. Don't know what happened or when that changed. Maybe in 2018?
  11. Torres coming up again.. lol .. Two outs, two on. What do you do?
  12. Eshelman's velocity has been slowly increasing every appearance. He's hit 88mph the last two now.
  13. Alright, Tom. Time to make Sessh look like a fool.
  14. I know it. I remain hopeful that he can figure out how to make it all work more consistently. Yup. All of 'em. I don't think they'll all die, though.
  15. Almost everyone sucked on my little league team including me. I was only good at pitching.. in a Mitch Williams kind of way, but it worked. Couldn't hit a lick, though. Couldn't judge fly balls in the outfield. Typical pitcher.
  16. See, it's that stuff that makes me believe in Eshelman even if no one else does. One bad pitch to Torres, but just rolled through a quick inning. He's got to get better, but I don't think he's garbage like everyone else here. That could change, though. He'll probably make me look silly in saying that before the night is through. Can't wait!
  17. I'm with Palmer when he says that you have to keep putting the guys out there and hope they get better. It's not easy to watch this, but it's necessary to see who comes out on the other side. Some will, most won't. It's worth it to get the "some" out of the "most" as it were.
  18. Someone posted something somewhere on here of a podcast with an astrophysicist saying that the balls aren't juiced, they are just more round. Closer to a perfect circle and therefore better aerodynamics.
  19. Hmm, actually, you're right. Phillps was charged with three runs. Eshelman only one.
  20. Alberto with a bomb to left. Where's this power coming from?
