Sure we can, this is the OH, we do that all the time in here.
-
Peek at the Brewer discussion pages, some think this is a great pickup and a stud ready for the SR next season and others feel like he is a bullpen piece and nothing more. Another said, top Oriole prospect doesn't mean too much, when compare to other mlb teams. (OUCH)

As with most sports, it really only matter how well you are playing when you make the playoffs.
-
I was listening to 105.7 this morning talking about Alvarez, and it sounded like the guy was reading out of Drungo's handbook. Odds that a 27 year old in the minors, is still there for a very good reason, if they could play, normally they would have already been promoted.
-
I dont want a person taking a roster spot that is one dimensional, unless they are super stud at that one dimenison.
-
Young is never an upgrade if you want him to play the CoF.
-
I wonder if there is more here than a 2 month rental. You think DD thinks this is a COF upgrade for a couple of years, and they try to resign the guy at the end of the season? Please tell me, his agent is not Boras.

Houston picked up Kazmir already. Now, they appeared to have jumped onto the Hamel sweepstakes. http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/07/28/astros-making-a-strong-effort-for-phillies-ace-cole-hamels/
-
But his fan club continues to ignore that fact.
-
Is he still batting 3rd?

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/14/oblique-injury-sends-kelly-johnson-to-braves-disabled-list/ What I find hard to swallow: Leads the team in homers and batting cleanup.

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/14/blue-jays-sign-luke-scott-after-stints-in-korea-and-mexico/ Luke Scott signs minor league deal with Tampa Bay.
-
Surprise it took so long, surprised they signed him, after a era of 10+ last season. Kinda of hard to keep your job as a setup man to the closer, when your ERA is 11+

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/05/should-the-astros-pursue-cole-hamels.html MLBTR article and the guy makes a good case for the Astros should pursue Cole Hamels.
-
Thanks, for the life of me, couldn't remember where I saw it, or I would have provided the linky.
-
Rangers lead the majors with DFAs from what I read earlier today, something like 38 going back several years, Orioles had 22 and a couple of the teams like the Cards only had 6.
-
Not only a laughter, but one one a Sunday. That is a rare gem.
-
But, wait, how can a defensive legend as Nick, misplay a ball in the outfield?
-
Roch posted this today: http://www.masnsports.com/school-of-roch/2015/04/markakis-says-no-animosity-toward-orioles.html I guess that is way different than getting my phone calls not returned.
-
Can you image the OH crowd, if Buck batted him third here? LOL
-
Orioles 25-1 to make World Servies Braves 35 -1 to make World Series Of course, what do odd makers know?
-
and maybe post season.
-
I agree, and I hope he has a great season, except if and when they play the Orioles.
-
Braves haven't posted it yet. http://mlbstartingnine.com/home.jsp
