  1. Yea he didn’t turn it around. He threw a few more strikes but overall, another poor strike%. Still, the overall result isn’t bad but he can’t come to the majors throwing less than 60% of his pitches for strikes. I do feel if he does this in the past, he gives up a lot more runs and doesn’t go 5 or 6 IP…so, it’s still a step in the right direction.
  2. #@$% this ump He is calling so many borderline pitches to the Nats but not the Os. Does he have money on the game?
  3. Oh yea, it will never happen. But having the ability to fire these guys (or relegate them to the minors) and/or hold them accountable for their sh!t job would be great.
  4. Good numbers through 3 innings but again, he’s having issues throwing strikes. Only 54% of his pitches for strikes and has thrown 61 pitches. Still, only 1 run, 1 walk, 3 Ks and 4 hits. His “bad” continues to be good.
  5. They have a very powerful union. The unps are very protected. They can keep screwing up and it doesn’t really matter.
  6. And he’s almost able to make the throw to second in the air
  7. So you think the Os try harder than other teams? How are you measuring that? What evidence do you have of that? Are the Nats trying harder tonight?
  8. Getting rid of the union is easily the best way to do it.
  9. You mean Holliday believing the leg kick is beneficial to him is worth more than the swing mechanics experts on OH?
  10. They have both earned the call up.
  11. I would want to get Walters back from Cle..electric relief prospect in AAA. This is a real philosophical question….do you trade the unproven young guy for BP help or do you trade the vet proven guy for BP help? In the offseason, I feel that’s a no brainer and you move the vet but during the season, the decision becomes much harder imo.
  12. Ken brings up a point that can’t be overstated enough…beating up on your opponents is the true measure of how good you are. Winning 1 run games is great and all but winning 8-0 shows a much more true level of dominance over your peers.
