It’s been a tough week for Yankees fans. The Yanks lost 3/4 against the O’s and the Lakers got eliminated from the playoffs.

IIRC, the Giants use orange and black because John McGraw liked those colors from his days with the Orioles. But the Yankees were the ones that were originally in Baltimore.
