Agree in preference for Helsley. Would cost more tho but much better and cleaner back end option. Kopech strikes me as bit of high strung head case (which may be perfect for BP but we got like one month of data as reliever on him). -

Gotta keep crushing here in May, because mid June to A-S break the opponents are (in consecutive order) ATL, PHI, @NYY, @HOU, CLE, TEX, @SEA, @OAK, CHC, NYY. That’s quite the gauntlet. -
Could go with six man rotation while keeping Burnes on standard 5 day routine. The schedule starts getting dense with fewer days off becoming perhaps more conducive to six man rotation. From 5/10 through 7/14 (all star break), the Os have just 3 off days on 5/16, 5/30, 7/1.

Today was kinda best case scenario. Santa finally hitting Cowser with high quality ABs Kremer continuing the SP scoreless run Suarez looking solid in first BP appearance going 3 innings and keeping other relievers well rested

Suarez is the perfect long man. Works fast, pounds the strike zone, and FB dominant profile is good contrast to guys like Irvin, Means, Kremer.
