  1. Agree in preference for Helsley. Would cost more tho but much better and cleaner back end option. Kopech strikes me as bit of high strung head case (which may be perfect for BP but we got like one month of data as reliever on him).
  2. Miscounted earlier…one off day in June on 6/17.
  3. Gotta keep crushing here in May, because mid June to A-S break the opponents are (in consecutive order) ATL, PHI, @NYY, @HOU, CLE, TEX, @SEA, @OAK, CHC, NYY. That’s quite the gauntlet.
  4. Could go with six man rotation while keeping Burnes on standard 5 day routine. The schedule starts getting dense with fewer days off becoming perhaps more conducive to six man rotation. From 5/10 through 7/14 (all star break), the Os have just 3 off days on 5/16, 5/30, 7/1.
  5. Of course McKenna would have to do McKenna things here in a laugher.
  6. Elly may deposit one into the Ohio River here
  7. Trying to showcase Baumann to increase his trade value?
  8. What’s Hyde’s doing there? Suarez only at 25 pitches…I guess that was his initial limit?
  9. Today was kinda best case scenario. Santa finally hitting Cowser with high quality ABs Kremer continuing the SP scoreless run Suarez looking solid in first BP appearance going 3 innings and keeping other relievers well rested
  10. Man kinda worried here that Cincy will throw at Westy
  11. Cowser’s had really good ABs today.
  12. Suarez is the perfect long man. Works fast, pounds the strike zone, and FB dominant profile is good contrast to guys like Irvin, Means, Kremer.
  13. Are there English and Spanish pitchcomms?
  14. Re: unis. What a colossal fail by Nike. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see unis reissued by all-star break.
  15. As was OP@CY before the wall was moved back.
  16. Even though it was an out, nice sign there to see Cowser got to LF against the LHP.
  17. 13 whiffs and 18 called strikes leading to 6 Ks on the day for Kremer.
  18. Yeah I would have Suarez warming up in case Kremer quickly loses feel and strike zone like he did last inning.
  19. Might be losing the feel and blister effect, hung cutter to CES and walked India.
  20. 102mph off the bat. Cowser was actually 104mph at em ball earlier in the inning.
  21. With much better efficiency than usual. 54 pitches thru 4 innings.
