  1. That's a weird things to say. He's an elite groundball guy from the left-side who can dominate lefties.
  2. Cardinals coaching is out coaching the Orioles in this game. They are very prepared and have taken every advantage.
  3. Cardinals are embarrassing the Orioles on the base paths. Utterly embarrassing.
  4. I saw that too. Auto strike zone would have called that a strike.
  5. Instead of bases loaded and one out, Santander flies out and now we have two out and runner 1st and 2nd. Thanks Laz for doing your best to have an automated strike zone employed.
  6. Pretty sure Santander is planning to hack his way out of this season long slump.
  7. You and I both know I mean if all things are considered the best arm goes there. Clearly quickness, hands, agility all come in play.
  8. Apparently he pissed himself off by missing that 2-1.. Go Gunner.
  9. Ouch, Gunner swung through a 2-1 91 MPH fastball! Ouch baby, very ouch!
  10. Well me and every single baseball manager, coach, and scout. But yeah.
  11. Obvious error Kevin. It hit the glove. The fact that Mullins was not on second is just a lack of hustle.
  12. Hell of a play by Henderson, but good Lord, Brown needs to calm himself down. Not every play is "insane". He's starting to really annoy me with is over zealous calls lately.
  13. Oh no, Brown is getting bored. To Ben: "Where would you prefer to get hit?" Um, what? I mean, it was still not as bad as his mustache ride comment earlier!
  14. Gray is on his game for sure. How he was hit has last time or two out has no bearing on how he's throwing tonight. The Orioles hitters are not helping, but he is commanding about as good as he can. We literally saw the difference between one pitcher commanding at the top of his game and one at the bottom of his game. That leads to a game like this.
  15. Brown, "Seems like Suarez is mixing his pitches more." You more than the Little League game calling Rutschman used when he called for 9 fastballs in 12 pitches against a good fastball hitter with a go ahead runner on 2nd and 1st base open? You mean more different than that?
  16. Wasn't really that bad of a pitch. Inner third.
  17. He's got to get through 5 at least. No use blowing through the pen on a game they're going to lose.
  18. Laz Diaz called this pitch a ball and just cost the Orioles three runs.
  19. The Yankees are on a run for sure, but they will cool down. They are no where near as good as their record. They've been beating up on everyone not the AL East.
  20. He's got his good stuff and command going for sure, but this offense is not helping any with their hackothan ways.
  21. Nope, too much to ask apparently. This team's approach this year has led to more HRs, but less BBs, which means when they have a good pitcher on his game, they don't adjust and try and work counts, they go up there hacking away. Not a fan of these new hitting coaches honestly. It's just such a drastic change from the way these guys were taught coming up. We were supposed to have a lineup full of guys who work counts and attack pitches they can do damage on. Instead we have a bunch of Ryan Mountcastle's.
  22. Mountcastle in one of his cold spells of late going 1-for his last-20 and slashing .177/ .177/.353/.529 over his last 68 PAs.
  23. If that's the case, then that is not smart in this situation. He has a very poor throwing catcher. He should have been going on the 1st or 2nd pitch and get in scoring position and then allow the hitter to not have to worry about the runner going.
  24. Another great start at the plate foe the new '27 Yankees.
  25. I think he screwed over Mateo too who took pitches for his to go on.
