I was 11 years old for the 1997 playoffs. I had moved at the end of summer to Pittsburgh, something I was extremely not happy about. This is embarassing, but I watched the ALCS on a little black and white TV while pretending to pitch (glove and all) & bat in my living room depending on if the O's were pitching/batting. Alomar getting rung up was traumatic. I'm pretty sure I was bawling and rolling around on the floor screaming at my parents for screwing up the juju by moving the family away from Baltimore. lol This Orioles team is now officially the best team of my lifetime. Can't wait to go to my first Orioles playoff game next Saturday.

Seemed like the right call. The frame where his foot goes vertical, he didn't yet have the ball by like... 1 frame on the side shot. On the shot from behind, when his foot is in that position, it's off the bag.

Eh, I'm actually pretty happy for the off day. Not only does the team need an off day like never before, but I could use a day off from the stress of these games. Plus - it'll give me some time to focus on booking flights, hotels and tickets for Game 1 and 2 of the ALDS.

Yeeeeahhh... probably. Lol

No you don't. It was a crazy good game. We lost. Rays lost. All is well.

Good point. That said it's an advantage to have those off days leading into the start of the playoffs.

Meanwhile Tampa was off on Monday, and have TWO off days next week.
