Maybe he's taking it easier tonight with the 7 run lead. Saving himself for Oct.

NESN had the safe call at second immediately.
MLB-Tv had the play and the explanation of what was going on immediately after it happened. Questioned why Cora was changing pitchers, also.

They didn't hit popups like that in AAA. He'll have to learn that at the big leagues/

I harken back to the time when Ben read a fifteen second commercial and when finished be said,"Boy, that's more than I read when I was at LSU." Ben offers no pretense of being other than what he is.

Looking forward to another late rally for an O's win

I have the MLB app on my phone. When I hear her voice I switch over to the opposing teams radio duo. Most of the time they are quite complimentary on this years O's team and their outlook. I can usually understand what's going on in the game in real time. (Not the skanks or Rsox broadcast) This makes listening to the game more enjoyable than the Baltimore radio for me.

We need Mateo's veteran leadership.

Mateo would have had it.
-
Mullins would have had it.

I thought Adley may get his first day off today. I can see the run him into the ground plan is still on the docket.
If you're not signing him long term, get all the mileage you can. Didn't Buck have Weiters driving the bus to away games in Spring Training? lol
-
Santander would have had it.

Kimbrel is a winner. Don't need no 100mph heater.

I think this is an excellent trade proposal. ME should get the ball rolling. Now have three guys blocking the #1 prospect. Just DFA Cowser to make room on the 26 man. Mateo can back up center field so no need for an extra back up there.

Guess we'll find out what the season ticket base is Tue night against KC. Especially if the weather is less than stellar. (Or maybe tonight or Wed)

We got the big bats. 4 runs is not enough for those Angels. Shut 'em down from now on.

On June 11, 2023 vs. Kansas City, Gunnar Henderson was a triple shy of the cycle.
On August 20, 2023 at Oakland, Gunnar Henderson was a single shy of the cycle.
On September 8, 2023 at Boston, Gunnar Henderson was a home run shy of the cycle.
Today, March 30, 2024 vs. LA, Gunnar Henderson is a double shy of the cycle.
I need to know if anyone else in baseball history has completed the "shy of the cycle" cycle in a calendar year. Who do I email?
Looks like he was pulled a cycle short of the cycle in the four games. How's that for an oddity.

Hyde takes away Gunnar's shot at the cycle.
A travesty.
Most egregious early season managing since David Hess was yanked in the middle of his no hitter.
Thanks Sig\bot.

In years past, I'd say lets save of these runs for tomorrow. Don't think that's necessary this year.

I think this still would have happened with Ohtani on the team.
I'd bet on that.

GRod finds his command and gets out of the inning after a shaky start.
-
Burnes gave up a couple of booming doubles that inning. Hollander says it is mostly the B squad of a Jays split squad. Didn't recognize to many of the names.
-
Why can't we get a sac fly? Never mind.
-
Rodriguez for the Jays, has looked good against the O's A team.
-
24-6 Same as Spring Trng record percentage. Unstoppable.

Don’t forget Spence pitched three scoreless innings. A’s picked him up in the rule 5 draft last dec from the yanks. Guess they won that one and handed the birds a loss. Nevin and Hernaiz, that orioles gave to A’s, helped A’s beat yanks, so O’s are 1-1 against them already this year.
