  1. According to people in Detroit, he vetoed the trade because he wanted more money to waive NTC. This came out after the trade was vetoed.
  2. A quick question. Does a player need to be on 26 men roster before September 1 to be eligible for the playoff or 40 men roster. Specifically, does Tyler Wells have to be called up prior to September 1 to be eligible since he is not on IL?
  3. Shade of 2011. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2021/09/28/sports/red-sox-wary-bringing-scary-camden-yards-memories-2011-back-life/ https://www.bostonherald.com/2021/09/28/mastrodonato-red-sox-return-to-baltimore-where-another-collapse-would-draw-comparisons-to-2011/ https://theathletic.com/2847751/2021/09/27/a-decade-later-the-ripples-of-mlbs-wild-legendary-game-162-are-still-felt/ I would love to see the history repeats itself. 2012 Orioles were magical after 2011 September.
  4. This person has been a big fan of Mancini for some time. He wants the Cardinals to trade for him. https://redbirdrants.com/2020/11/10/st-louis-cardinals-trey-mancini-fit/
  5. I am certain that more will come out soon. With Astros' firing both Luhnow and Hinch, does this mean that suspension begin now or when and if they get hired by someone?
  6. I think this is interesting that some St Louis people are noticing Mancini. How about what they are proposing? https://www.google.com/amp/s/redbirdrants.com/2019/06/27/st-louis-cardinals-trey-mancini/amp/
  7. Does he have a cannon of an arm? Seriously, 3 catchers in 10 rounds. I really wonder what the long term plan for AR. AR may start pretty high up with these catchers needing to play in low minors.
  8. Remember that pitchers who threw 90 MPH in the late 1980's was considered as a hard thrower. Don Aase in 1985 and 1986 touched 94 MPH and considered as very hard thrower. I think Todd Worrell for STL was the hardest thrower at 97 MPH back then.
  9. His listed height and weight are 6'2" and 170 lbs. You would expect some upwards velocity projection as he gets filled out. If he gets to 94 -95 range, he will be a serious prospect.
