It's 1:15pm

The Mountain has to be pretty anxious and pretty wired sitting out there right about now.

It's not just pitch counts but also innings limits. Pitchers aren't allowed to build up their arms like they did for most of baseball's history and there isn't a lot of evidence to do it. I do admit that kids playing baseball year round might be a contributing factor.

Cano hasn't been the same for well over a month. Balls are coming off of the bat a lot different these days. League adjusted to him and now it is his turn.

Might be true. I think there is a self fulfilling prophecy with the pitch count believers though. It was 120 pitches for a while there. Now it is 100.

It is a convenient narrative against Dusty. I would say the biggest problem with Dusty as a manager is that he doesn't manage any differently in the post season vs regular season.

That was really bad. Maybe they are trying to make us appreciate KB even more when he returns tomorrow.

Give me Dusty over Dave Martinez any day. Obsessing over pitch counts is absolute madness in today's baseball.

Let's close these guys out so we don't have to hear any more crap about how we aren't as good as these guys and that there is a Kevin Brown curse.

If Mountcastle keeps hitting like this then he just very well make up for the lack of tradeline upgrades. Really exciting.

Yes, the 8th. I don't trust anyone in that inning at the moment and Kremer's pitch count is reasonable.

I hope Kremer can get through the 8th inning.

Jim can say whatever he wants and not be worried about his job status. He is not only beloved as a long time broadcasters, he's one of the five faces of this franchise all time. I don't think even an Angelos would dare "mess with Jim" (sorry thought of that song lol).

Which extremely depressing. Keeping both guys isn't happening but am hoping for one. Adley/Gunnar/Holliday will be an incredible top of the order and I can see every one of them out of here when they are eligible to leave. Sucks being a fan of a small market team.

I really hope it was Palmer who leaked this. It adds up. He would be even more of a hero around here if he did.

I would like to know if Rodriguez was truly gassed or if he was not allowed to finish the inning because of the idiotic 100 pitches and your arm falls off mentality.
