But we need to see what adjustments the Orioles can help Flaherty with to see if they can coax better performance out of him. We didn’t address the bullpen and that sucks the most.

His FIP for his career is 3.85. Compared to his ERA of 3.67. Seems like the bad defense really hasn't had much of an affect on him.

Cowser is the guy I'd trade and I like Cowser. I don't view this really as tough. Kjerstad has more power potential and I'm looking at Basallo as a guy who can move Adley off catcher in a few years if Adley starts to slip. Or is DH/1B/C, to your point. Mayo is 1B of the future. Yes, this team does draft college outfielders all the time. I wouldn't worry about dealing Cowser. That said, I'm not that high on Cease as others are. Tremendous upside but he's not a clear cut #1. Hearing this made my day.
