I watched the whole inning and it was deja vu... he gave up a leadoff single on a ground ball... he threw a nasty 2-seamer to freeze the next batter... he walked the next... then walked the next to load the bases... then gave up a bloop shallow single to tie... then got yanked. He didn't give up anything hard, his 2-seamer looked nasty, he got squeezed at the plate and got babiped to death. In other words, the exact same nightmare we witnessed last year.

This was earlier in the year. This was last night.

As soon as the extra inning game is over in Tampa, regardless of the winner, the Orioles will be 1 game out of the wild card.

It was said multiple times in 2012... but tonight's game is a game that the Orioles simply don't win from 2000-2011. It was weird to see the Orioles win these games last year and it still feels weird watching them win them this year too. I can't quite get used to this.

To be honest, I really don't want Ford to succeed as I think we have better options with higher upside. But he's making it really hard to root against.

There's a very distinct possibility that the both the Sox and Yanks finish in the bottom spots of the division. I think then, and only then, will people really see the division differently. Though everything I've read and heard regarding previews and predictions is that the AL East is a full 5 team division right now and the days of having a top 2 and bottom 3 are gone.
