I think he gets a chance at a quick 8th if he didn't have issues with the UCL. He definitely wasn't getting 9, I agree. -
Right, there is a proper use for the word, and it's also a pretty disgusting word when you use it in the context he did.

Eh, DirtyBird doesn't exactly have a vast vocabulary, he struggles to articulate himself like a grownup and when you can't think of better word choices, you just throw one of 10 words you do know, no matter what.

Verlander just spoke about this on the Athletic. He was a 120 P guy when he first came up and the era before him was saying why aren't guys throwing 150 P/G. Times change and usually for good reason.

Coming off a strained UCL you'd keep him out there? I guess that's why you play GM and aren't one. Nobody is signing off on that. His long-term health shouldn't be gambled with in a game in May that means nothing.

Is his pitch count reasonable for a guy coming off a UCL strain and PRP shot that made him miss spring training and a month of the season? Would you throw him 20 more pitches in a game that means nothing in May?

Bradish is like a 3 run inning from a 3+ ERA. He hasn't pitched many innings.

Having spent a week a month in Chicago for 4 years and coming from NY, what they call pizza is 3lbs of Mozzarella with some sauce on top. I found it inedible but some people clearly like it.
