  1. They better hope he hangs some curveballs because it's all they are going to see from him tonight.
  2. Try using a laptop or PC and see if the experience is better.
  3. I get it free so I use it when the O's are on. Otherwise I totally agree.
  4. He patted him on the butt. I wonder if Randy signed a consent form?
  5. That's the guy we traded for. I don't care if this is his last good start, keep it going!
  6. Going Underground, YOU have the ability to edit your posts, don't be a Limited Posting Member.
  7. It's a personal choice to allow the game thread to distract you from watching and enjoying this team. When your game thread pages look mostly like this, I can assure you the experience is much more enjoyable.
  8. Ramon should be at 3B, I'd keep Westburg away from third, weak arm and poor plays there, he should be a 2B.
  9. Don Buford should be on this list somewhere. He was overshadowed by the stars in the late 60's and early 70's but he had some great years for the O's.
  10. Honestly, who knows with Baseball? He's just as likely to go to 7 innings of 1 run ball. There is no guarantee that Grayson will go more than 4 innings and 5 runs tomorrow. The only way to find out is to wait and see what we get.
  11. I think he'll be here for his service time. I also think he's going to be better than Weiters, though, I don't think he's going to be Buster Posey. He's going to justify that 1:1 in my opinion. .800 OPS catchers are not dime a dozen players and I think that's what he's going to be. 20 HR's .800 OPS with some years the numbers are likely better. He missed his whole age-22 season, he would have been in Baltimore at 23 but things happen. He's certainly not a bust.
  12. He was a college bat, not drafted out of high school. He was 21 in his first MiL game and with his birthday being in Feb he's always going to be in his "age" season. If his birthday was July 7th this would be his age 24 season. I think regardless of his age, we're going to get whatever his peak is and like I said, I don't think signing Catchers to long-term deals is a strategy I'd be interested in.
  13. I don't think C is a good investment for a deal into their 30's. The money would be better spent on Henderson. Basallo, if he sticks at C is going to be the future at some point probably, not sure if he sticks there, though.
  14. There are going to be more and more guys with later starts due to the covid year and lost seasons.
  15. He's 25 already? Now 25 is borderline old? It used to be a guy who was 30 was bordering on old and now we're like, he's 25 already? Wow.
  16. The bottom line is either they are good enough or they aren't. The break would be nice, but if they are good enough, and they've at least looked like it nearly all year then they will be fine. If they aren't, well, it's house money. Nobody thought this team would approach 100 wins.
