I just need this game to end before the stuttering MLB.TV feed makes me jump off my roof. It's got to be the game feed, the commercials are totally fine.

It is still a hit, you still get credit for getting on base, and you would lose win value for being a bad baserunner. It wouldn't just affect your slugging, you got on base, you just made a bad move and tried to get greedy.
