This team is better, they aren't sneaking up on anyone this year. I'd much rather they limp to the playoffs like Texas did last year and get hot than end the season playing like this as they did last year and get run out of the playoffs in 3 games.

I'd take the 0-76 the rest of the way out if they'd make it permanent.

If he does this I hope he gets fired. If we have 10 years of playoff appearances and people aren't satisfied with the job he's doing, they should pick another team to watch, preferably the one that is leading in the 9th in the clincher game of the World Series each year.

I have no doubt that he wants to win a World Series and will have the flexibility to do what he needs to do. I was speaking to more about him not being in panic mode during a terrible stretch of baseball. They'll snap out of it.

That AB by Gunnar is why you don't get too crazy with statcast numbers. That had an xBA of .640 and that was as routine as could be.
