Give me some pitchers you think are number 2's and I'll show you guys who aren't averaging 6IP+ per game. Very few do that. We don't have a single pitcher in our rotation who does that. I said he's a 2-3 and I stand by that. This is a 26-year-old with 182 IP in his career, label him a 5 and dive going forward but like a lot of your stuff, it would be shortsighted.
They've been limiting his pitch counts like they have for all of the starters. It seems they don't want guys without a lot of innings under their belts to throw more than x amount of pitches. He's not an Ace, but he's a hell of a lot better than a 5 and-dive guy. He's a sold 2-3 and very valuable to this team. If not for a missed strike he's 7 innings 0 runs.
Back-end starter? Bradish has the best stuff on the staff lol. How on earth do you see him as a "decent 5 and dive guy"? That might be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read in a game thread. He's 26 with an extremely high ceiling.
Like, put a device on each wrist or something, if it buzzes right wrist call it a strike, if it buzzes your left wrist call a ball. The ump should be calling fair/foul and HBP and tipped balls and plays at the plate. That's it.
It's definitely disappointing. I don't think he's a bust yet. This is his first full season and it's a grind for sure. I do think he's going to have some incredible seasons in the future.
Pretty big mix of day/night games coming up. Mon night against Cincy, then Tues afternoon then Wed night. Twins Friday night then 2 day games. It's all over the place.
